Ford last produced the ford GT in 2005 and 2006. The Ford GT Carbon Fiber supercar will be one of 12 high-performance vehicles Ford plans to introduce by 2020. It will join Focus RS, F-150 Raptor, Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT 350R in the growing Ford performance line-up.
The Ford GT Carbon Fiber Super Car features adavanced lightweight composites that will help serve Ford’s entire product line-up moving forward. According to Ford this car will exhibit one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car.
Aerodynamic efficiency is at the heart of the GT design, actively reducing drag while aiding downforce and stability. Aerodynamic components also help to improve braking whilst a rear spoiler is keyed to both speed and driver input.
The all-new Ford GT has a fully contemporary and functional shape that reveals modernity and pure beauty. Ford customers will benefit from the ultimate performance.
